Interrogation – Acts 3 and 4

Timid and ashamed
Limited defamed
Down and out-it’s why they deny the truth

No one takes the blame,
pointing out- they frame to frame,
they’ll call you out,
and tell you what to do

Chorus:
What did you know and when did you know it?
How did you hide it for so long?
Where did you show up?
and why did you go along with the crowd?

What are you hiding? Where did you grow it?
How do you tell what’s right – what’s wrong,
you’ll be singing a different song-out loud.

Bridge: and in a week, a moment weak, like a spy in from the cold,
Up from the meek, you boldly speak, you’re not the man of old!
Brother – “How’d you get so bold?”

Crippled- you come up lame,
then you call out Jesus’ name,
a simple route a constant bout,
an eye for eye- tooth for tooth.

You won’t remain the same,
as you’re getting past your pain,
you may lack the clout, like a wild root.

Chorus:
What did you know and when did you know it?
How did you hide it for so long?
Where did you show up?
and why did you go along with the crowd?

What are you hiding? Where did you grow it?
How do you tell what’s right – what’s wrong,
you’ll be singing a different song-out loud.
